Imagine having fingernails so long they could touch the ground! That’s what Lee Redmond did. She was a real-life queen, but instead of a crown, she wore super-long fingernails. She was born a long, long time ago in a place called Utah in America. People loved seeing her incredible nails!

Lee started growing her nails when she was a young girl. She didn't cut them for many, many years! Her nails grew and grew, becoming longer than many toys kids play with. They were so long, they were like super-long ribbons attached to her fingers. It took a lot of care to keep them healthy and clean.

Because her fingernails were so super-long, Lee Redmond got into a very famous book called the Guinness World Records! This book lists all sorts of amazing things people have done. Her nails were the longest ever on both hands for a woman. It’s like winning a gold medal for having the longest nails!

Lee Redmond wasn't just known for her nails. She was a person who lived a full life. She was born on February 2, 1941, and lived until December 14, 2023. Even though her nails were special, she was loved by her family and friends. She showed everyone that being unique is wonderful.
