Kang Daniel, born Kang Eui-geon on December 10, 1996, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, actor, television host, and businessman whose career trajectory exemplifies the modern K-pop success story. His ascent to fame began in 2017 as the first-place winner of the second season of Mnet's 'Produce 101,' a highly competitive reality survival program. This victory not only secured his spot but also positioned him as the de facto center of the resulting project boy group, Wanna One.

Wanna One quickly became a dominant force in the K-pop industry, achieving widespread commercial success and critical acclaim during their tenure.
