Who Are the Japanese?
Most people in Japan are Japanese, like how most kids in your school are from your town. There are about 125 million Japanese people all over the world! That's more people than there are seats on a million school buses!
Most of them live right there in Japan, but some have moved to other countries. Sometimes, people who are part Japanese and part something else are also part of this big, wonderful family.
Super Cool Stuff They Do!
Japanese people have awesome traditions! They love to eat delicious food like sushi and ramen. They also have beautiful gardens with raked sand that looks like waves and pretty cherry blossom trees that bloom in the spring. Many Japanese people are known for being very polite and working hard. They also have a special way of bowing to say hello or thank you, which is super respectful!
