Jacob Frey

Imagine a city with lots of people and tall buildings, like a giant playground! Jacob Frey is like the captain of that city, called the Mayor of Minneapolis. He helps make sure everything runs smoothly and that people are happy. He started his job as Mayor in 2018 and people liked him so much they chose him again! He's been helping the city for a long time.

Before becoming Mayor, Jacob Frey was an amazing runner! He ran so fast that he even got special shoes to wear for races. He went to college on a special scholarship just for running. After he finished running his races and studying hard, he moved to Minneapolis. He used to help people with tricky problems as a lawyer before he decided to help the whole city.

Jacob Frey's running days taught him a lot. Running long distances means you have to be strong, keep going, and think ahead. These are super helpful skills for a Mayor! He has to think about what the city needs now and what it will need in the future. It's like planning a really long race to make sure the city wins!
