Haile Selassie

Haile Selassie was a very important leader in a country called Ethiopia. He was born a long, long time ago, in 1892. He became the Emperor, which is like a king, and ruled for many years. He wanted Ethiopia to be a modern country with new ideas and buildings. He was a very wise ruler who cared a lot about his people and his land.
