Imagine a place bigger than many towns put together! Greater Western Sydney is a giant area with cool rivers, green forests, and even special bushland that's super old. It's home to the Blue Mountains, which are so big they're famous all around the world!

This place has lots of water from rivers like the Hawkesbury and Nepean, which is like Sydney's giant water bottle. It's a place where nature is really important and beautiful.

A Super Old Story!

People have lived here for thousands and thousands of years! Long ago, the Darug people knew this land was full of yummy food from the rivers and trees. Then, a town called Parramatta was built way back in 1788, the same year Sydney started!

That makes Parramatta one of the oldest places in Australia. A road called Parramatta Road is also super old, like one of the first highways ever built to connect two cities!
