Where is This Magical Garden?
Gardens by the Bay is a super cool park in a city called Singapore. It's right next to a big, shiny water called Marina Reservoir. Think of it like a giant playground made of plants! It's made of three parts: Bay South, Bay East, and Bay Central. The biggest part, Bay South, is as big as about 18 soccer fields put together. It's a place where nature and city buildings live side-by-side.
How Did This Garden Grow?
A long time ago, Singapore wanted to be a 'City in a Garden.' They wanted more green spaces for everyone to enjoy. So, in 2005, they announced this amazing garden idea. It took time and lots of planning to build. Now, it's one of Singapore's most famous places, like a giant, beautiful landmark that everyone loves to visit and take pictures of.
Super-Sized Greenhouses!
One of the coolest parts is the Flower Dome. It's the biggest glass greenhouse on the whole planet! Inside, it's like stepping into different countries because they have plants from places that are warm and dry, like Australia and parts of South Africa. Itβs like a giant, warm hug for flowers from all around the world, keeping them safe and happy.
A Garden for Everyone!
Lots and lots of people love visiting Gardens by the Bay. In just one year, over 6 million people came to see it! That's more people than live in some big cities. It's a place for families, friends, and even people from far away countries to explore and be amazed by all the beautiful plants and amazing structures.
