It's a place where nature and city buildings live side-by-side.

How Did This Garden Grow?

A long time ago, Singapore wanted to be a 'City in a Garden.' They wanted more green spaces for everyone to enjoy. So, in 2005, they announced this amazing garden idea. It took time and lots of planning to build. Now, it's one of Singapore's most famous places, like a giant, beautiful landmark that everyone loves to visit and take pictures of.

Super-Sized Greenhouses!

One of the coolest parts is the Flower Dome. It's the biggest glass greenhouse on the whole planet! Inside, it's like stepping into different countries because they have plants from places that are warm and dry, like Australia and parts of South Africa. Lots and lots of people love visiting Gardens by the Bay. In just one year, over 6 million people came to see it! That's more people than live in some big cities.
