Franco Alfano

Franco Alfano was a very special person who lived a long time ago, from 1875 to 1954. He was like a wizard with music! He could play the piano beautifully and also wrote amazing music for operas. Operas are like plays where people sing all the words instead of talking. Franco wrote his own operas, and people loved them!

One of the coolest things Franco did was help finish a very famous opera called Turandot. The composer who started it, Puccini, couldn't finish it before he passed away. Franco stepped in and finished the music so everyone could hear the whole story! It was like finishing a puzzle for him.

Franco didn't just finish other people's music; he created his own amazing musical stories! Two of his most famous operas were called Cyrano de Bergerac and Risurrezione. These operas told exciting tales through music and singing, and people really enjoyed them when he was alive.
