Felipe VI

Imagine being a king! That's Felipe VI, the King of Spain. He was born a long, long time ago, in 1968, in a big city called Madrid.

He has a queen, Queen Letizia, and two daughters, Princess Leonor and Princess Sofía. He's like the captain of a big ship called Spain, making sure everything runs smoothly and everyone is happy. He loves his country and works hard to make it a great place for everyone.

Felipe didn't just become king overnight! When he was a little boy, about the size of a big school bus, he was made an honorary officer in the army. That means he learned about being brave and strong.

He went to school in Canada too, which is super far away! Later, he studied law, which is about rules, and even went to a special school in America. He learned a lot to get ready for his important job.

When Felipe's dad decided it was time for a change, Felipe became the King of Spain in 2014. That's like getting a new principal at school! He has to make big decisions for Spain.
