Federation Tower

Federation Tower is like a pair of giant skyscrapers standing side-by-side in Moscow, Russia. One tower is called Vostok, which means 'East', and the other is Zapad, meaning 'West'. Vostok is the taller one, like a big brother!

It's so tall it's the second-tallest building in all of Europe. Zapad is still super tall, but a bit shorter. They stand on a big piece of land called the 13th lot, which is like a huge playground for these buildings.

Building these towers was a big project that started a long time ago, in 2005! The shorter tower, Zapad, was finished first in 2008. It was already as tall as a 70-story building!

But then, something called the Great Recession happened, and building had to stop for a while. It was like putting the construction toys away. Finally, in 2017, the super-tall Vostok tower was finished, reaching even higher into the clouds!

These towers are special because they are super, super tall! Vostok is so high it's the tallest building in its city, Moscow. Imagine looking out from the very top – you could see for miles and miles! They are also special because they were built using amazing engineering and design. People worked together from different countries to make these incredible buildings stand up strong.

Inside Federation Tower, there are lots of floors, like many levels in a giant apartment building. The taller Vostok tower has 97 floors, and the Zapad tower has 63 floors. These floors are used for many things, like offices where people work.

The towers are built on one big base, like two friends standing on the same giant mat. They are surrounded by streets and paths, making them a busy part of the city.
