Energy transition

Our world needs energy for everything, like lights, cars, and video games! For a long, long time, we've used energy from things like coal and oil. But these can make our planet a bit sick. An energy transition is like a big, exciting plan to switch to cleaner ways of getting power, like sunshine and wind!

Long ago, people used wood from trees for energy, like a big campfire. Then, they discovered coal, which was like a super-powered campfire! Later came oil and gas. Now, we're learning that sunshine and wind are like amazing superpowers that don't make a mess. This big switch is called an energy transition.

Switching to cleaner energy is super important! It helps keep our air clean to breathe and our planet healthy for animals and us. It's like cleaning up your room so you can play better. By using less coal and oil, we can stop making the Earth too warm and keep it just right.

How do we get this new energy? We use big windmills that spin in the wind, like giant pinwheels! We also use shiny solar panels that soak up the sun's rays, like a sponge for light. These are called renewable energy because they don't run out, unlike coal or oil!
