Eva Braun

Imagine a young girl named Eva Braun who loved taking pictures. She met a man named Adolf Hitler when she was only 17 years old. He was a photographer too!

Eva worked for him, and soon they started spending a lot of time together. She became a part of his life, living in a special house called the Berghof. Even though she was close to Hitler, she didn't go to big public events with him for a long time.

Eva lived a pretty quiet life, especially during World War II. While big things were happening in the world, she was often at Hitler's home. She was like a secret keeper, knowing him well but staying out of the spotlight. It wasn't until near the very end of the war that she became more visible. She even got married to Hitler in a quick ceremony in a secret underground room!

As the war was ending, Eva decided to stay with Hitler. She went to a special underground hideout called the Führerbunker in Berlin. Imagine a secret basement much bigger than your school's! She promised to be loyal to him. Just one day before they both died, they got married. It was a very sad and scary time, and sadly, they both chose to end their lives together.

Eva Braun was a photographer, and she took many photos and even movies of Hitler. These pictures are important because they show us what Hitler looked like in his private moments, not just when he was giving speeches. Many people didn't even know Eva Braun was so close to Hitler until after they were gone. Her photos help us understand a part of history.
