Welcome to Eton!

Eton College is a very special school in a small town called Eton, right next to a big castle called Windsor. It’s a boarding school, which means the students live there all week long, like a big sleepover! It’s the biggest boarding school in all of England. Think of it like a giant castle school where boys aged 13 to 18 go to learn and live together.

A School Fit for a King!

This school is super old! It was started way back in 1440 by a king named Henry VI. That’s almost 600 years ago! He wanted to make a school that was like another famous school called King's College. Eton has been around for so long that it’s seen knights, castles, and even the first airplanes! It’s one of the oldest schools in England.

Super Smart Students

Lots of very famous and important people went to Eton. They call them Old Etonians. Some of them became prime ministers who lead the country, and others became world leaders! Some even won big awards for acting or for making amazing discoveries. It's like a school that helps make future leaders and famous stars.

Living at School

At Eton, the boys live at the school every single day of the week during school time. This is called boarding. It’s different from most schools where you go home at the end of the day. Eton is one of only a few schools that still does this for boys. It means they are always together, learning and playing at their school.
