Enrico Berlinguer

He wanted to make Italy a better place for everyone. He was so popular that lots of people voted for his party, making it one of the biggest in Italy! He was known for being honest and brave.

Enrico had a special idea called Eurocommunism. It was like saying, 'We can be strong and independent, but still be friends with our neighbors!' He wanted Italy to be its own path, not following other big countries. He met with leaders from other countries to share his ideas and work together for peace and fairness.

He also stood up against bad people who were causing trouble, like terrorists. He wanted to make sure Italy was safe and fair for all its citizens.
