Dov Charney

Imagine a person who loved making clothes so much, he started a huge company called American Apparel! That person is Dov Charney. He was born way back in 1969 in Canada. He's a businessman, which means he's good at starting and running companies. His big idea was to make lots of cool clothes right here in the United States.

Dov Charney had a super popular idea: make t-shirts and other clothes in America. His company, American Apparel, grew super fast! It became one of the biggest clothing makers in the whole country. Even though American Apparel was huge, not everything was perfect. Sadly, Dov Charney had to leave his company because of some serious problems.
