Dolours Price

Imagine a person named Dolours Price. She was born a long, long time ago, in 1950. Dolours grew up in a family that cared a lot about Ireland. When she became a young adult, she decided to join a group called the Irish Republican Army, or IRA, in 1971. This was a big decision for her life!

Dolours Price was involved in something called the Old Bailey bombing in 1973. This happened in a big city called London. Because of this event, she was sent to jail. She stayed in jail for a long time, until 1981. That's like going to school for many, many years!

After she was let out of jail, Dolours Price had strong feelings about how Ireland should be. She didn't agree with some of the new plans for peace, and she also didn't agree with some of the leaders. She was very vocal about her opinions and shared them with many people.

Dolours Price also had a personal life. She got married to an actor named Stephen Rea in 1983. They had a family together, but later they got divorced in 2003. Her life had many different parts, from being a volunteer to having a family.
