Django Reinhardt

Imagine a musician who could play the guitar like magic, even when he could only use two fingers! That was Django Reinhardt. He was born in Belgium a long, long time ago, in 1910. He loved music so much that he became one of the most famous jazz guitarists ever. He didn't just play music; he made it up as he went along, creating super catchy tunes that people still love to dance to today.

When Django was young, there was a fire in his home, and his hand got hurt. Most people would think he couldn't play the guitar anymore, but Django was special! He learned to play his guitar using only his index and middle fingers. It's like trying to build a tall tower with only two blocks! Django didn't play alone. He formed a super cool band called the Quintette du Hot Club de France with his friend Stéphane Grappelli, who played the violin. They were the first band to make the guitar the star of the show in jazz music!
