Cornal Hendricks

Imagine a super-fast runner on a rugby field! That was Cornal Hendricks. He was a special kind of athlete from South Africa who played a sport called rugby union. Rugby is a game where players run with a ball and try to score points by getting it past the other team. Cornal was known for being really quick on his feet, which helped him play his position very well.

Cornal played for different teams in South Africa, like the Bulls and the Blue Bulls. Think of these teams like school sports teams, but for grown-ups playing a professional sport! He played in big games called Super Rugby and the Currie Cup. These are like the biggest championships for rugby players in his country. He was a star player who made exciting plays!

Sadly, Cornal Hendricks passed away in May 2025. It was a very unexpected and sad event. Even though he is no longer with us, people remember him for his talent and his passion for rugby. His memory lives on with all the fans who cheered for him and watched him play his favorite sport.
