Christina, Queen of Sweden

Christina wasn't born a typical princess! She became queen when she was just a little girl, only six years old. Her dad, King Gustavus Adolphus, was a famous warrior king.

When he sadly died in a big battle, Christina became the ruler of Sweden. She had to grow up fast and learn all about being a queen, even though she was still a child. It was like being the principal of your school when you're still in second grade!

Christina was super smart and loved learning more than anything. While other princesses might have played with dolls, Christina was busy reading books and studying. She learned many languages, like Latin and Greek, which were like secret codes for smart people back then.

She wanted to explore and learn more. So, she gave up her throne and left Sweden. She traveled to Italy, which was like going on a super long vacation to a place full of art and history.

She lived a very different life, free from royal duties.
