Chongqing

Chongqing is a super-duper big city in the southwestern part of China. It's not just a city, but a whole area called a 'municipality,' which is like a giant neighborhood. It's so big that it's compared to the size of a whole country called Austria!

It has tall mountains and a very important river called the Yangtze River flowing through it. The weather can be warm and a little bit wet, perfect for growing yummy things.

Chongqing has been around for a very long time. A long, long time ago, during a big war called the Second Sino-Japanese War, it was the special capital city where important decisions were made.
