Meet the Giant Land!

Castile and León is a super big place in Spain, like a giant puzzle piece! It's the biggest part of Spain, so big that it would take a long, long time to drive across it. Even though it's so huge, not many people live there.

It's like a giant playground with lots of space to run around! It's surrounded by mountains, like a cozy blanket, and a big river called the Douro flows through it, heading all the way to the ocean.

Castles and Knights of Long Ago!

A long, long time ago, this land was full of brave knights and beautiful castles. It was made by putting together different parts of Spain that were once separate kingdoms. Think of it like building with LEGOs, but with whole regions!

One very special thing happened here a super long time ago, in a place called León. It was like the very first meeting where people decided how to make rules together, and that idea spread all over the world!

Amazing Places to See!

This place has more amazing, world-famous spots than almost anywhere else! There are 11 places that UNESCO, a special group, says are super important for everyone to see. These places are like treasures, with old buildings and stories from history.

Imagine visiting places that are older than your grandparents, and even older than their grandparents! It's like stepping back in time to see how people lived hundreds and hundreds of years ago.

What Do People Do Here?

Even though it's a big place, many people who live here are older. This means there are lots of wise grandmas and grandpas! People here work in different ways, maybe on farms or in towns. They also have their own special ways of doing things, like traditions and festivals. It's a place with a long history and lots of stories to tell, making it a very special part of Spain.
