A Big Adventure to Venezuela!

Carlos was born a long, long time ago, in the year 1900. He grew up far away in Europe. But when he was 28, he took a big trip to Venezuela. It was his first time there! He loved it so much that he decided to stay and help build amazing things. He worked on making cities like Caracas and Maracay look more modern and beautiful. It was like giving the cities a cool makeover!

Building a City for Students!

One of Carlos's most amazing projects was building a whole university campus called Ciudad Universitaria. It's like a giant school with classrooms, libraries, and places for students to hang out. This campus was so special and well-designed that a group called UNESCO made it a World Heritage Site!

It had almost 8,000 apartments where people could live, and over 200 shops where they could buy things. Imagine a place with so many homes and stores all built by one clever architect! It shows how much he cared about making places for lots of people to enjoy.
