GB News, a relatively new television channel, provided a prominent platform for conservative voices, and Robinson was a key part of its lineup. In 2022, he was ordained as a deacon in the Free Church of England, a conservative Confessing Anglican denomination. This was followed by a move to the Nordic Catholic Church in 2023, a conservative Old Catholic denomination.

In 2024, Robinson's religious career extended to the United States, where he took up a position as a priest in the Anglican Catholic Church, a Continuing Anglican denomination. This move represented an international dimension to his ministry. However, this role proved to be short-lived.

On January 29, 2025, he was removed from his position by the Anglican Catholic Church. The catalyst for this decision was a gesture made at the end of a speech, which the church stated was widely interpreted as a 'pro-Nazi salute.' The church indicated this was an apparent reference to a similar gesture made by Elon Musk earlier that month. This incident generated considerable controversy and led to significant repercussions.

In May 2025, the parish where Robinson served voted to disaffiliate from the Anglican Catholic Church. He was subsequently granted a temporary license by Bishop Ray Sutton of the Reformed Episcopal Church, which is part of the Anglican Church in North America. However, this license was revoked just nine days later, following criticism from ACNA archbishop Steve Wood, highlighting the ongoing scrutiny and challenges he faces in his religious and public life.
