Bourbon Restoration in France

France is a country in Europe, like a big puzzle piece on the map. It has tall mountains, green fields, and a long coastline by the sea. The weather can be warm in the summer and cold in the winter, perfect for growing yummy grapes for juice and bread! It's a beautiful place with lots of history.

After a very famous leader named Napoleon was gone, France got its kings back! Two brothers, Louis XVIII and Charles X, ruled. They were from a family called the Bourbons. It was like a favorite toy coming back after being lost for a while. This time lasted from 1814 to 1830.

France had gone through a huge change called the French Revolution, which was like a big schoolyard reshuffle. People were tired of fighting wars. So, during this time, France was mostly peaceful and started to get better. People began building new things and making more stuff, like the beginnings of factories!

Even though kings were back, France was changing. People were learning new things and starting to build machines to help them work. This was the start of something called industrialization, where things are made in factories. It was an exciting time for France to grow and become stronger.
