Boudica

Imagine a queen named Boudica, who was the leader of a tribe called the Iceni in ancient Britain. She was known for her courage and her fiery red hair! Boudica's husband, the king, left his kingdom to his daughters and the Roman emperor. But when he died, the Romans didn't listen! They took over the kingdom and were very cruel. They hurt Boudica and her daughters. This made Boudica so angry that she decided to fight back against the Romans with her tribe and other British people.

Boudica led a huge rebellion! Her army was so big it was like a giant wave crashing against the Romans. They destroyed Roman towns like Colchester and London. It was a fierce battle, and many people were hurt. Even though they fought bravely, the Romans eventually won the war. Boudica died soon after, but her story of fighting for freedom lived on.
