Black seadevil

Imagine a place so dark, you can't see your hand in front of your face! That's where the Black seadevil calls home. They live in the big, deep oceans all around the world, in places that are warm and also where it's a bit cooler. They like to swim in the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific Oceans. One special kind even lives all the way down in the icy Ross Sea!

Black seadevils are part of a big fish family called anglerfish. They are called 'seadevils' because they look a little scary with their dark skin and funny shapes.
