Ben Stokes: The Cricket Superstar!

Imagine a superhero on a cricket field! That’s Ben Stokes! He’s a super-talented player for England who can do almost anything. He’s a fantastic batsman, hitting the ball super far, and he’s also a speedy bowler who throws the ball really fast. He even leads the England team as their captain! He’s like the captain of your favorite sports team, but on a much bigger stage.

Ben Stokes wasn't always English! He was born in a place called Christchurch in New Zealand, which is on the other side of the world. When he was a kid, his family moved to England. He started playing cricket there and got so good that he got to play for the England team! It’s like moving to a new school and becoming the star player on the playground.

Ben Stokes has helped England win some of the biggest cricket games ever! He was a star player when England won the Cricket World Cup in 2019. He even hit the winning runs in the final game! He also helped them win the T20 World Cup in 2022. He’s famous for hitting lots of sixes, which are the biggest scores you can get in cricket. He’s hit so many, he has a world record!
