After being a famous brain doctor, Ben Carson decided to try something new. He started talking about his ideas to lots of people, and soon, he was running to be the President of the United States! Even though he didn't win, he became a very important person in the government. He was in charge of helping people find safe and good places to live.

Because he was such a brilliant doctor, Ben Carson got lots of awards and special degrees. He was even called a 'Living Legend' by a big library! He wrote many books about his work and inspired many people. He showed everyone that with hard work and smart thinking, you can do amazing things.
