Where the Mountains Touch the Sky!

Banff National Park is like a super-duper big backyard in Canada, way up in the Rocky Mountains. It's so big, it's like having 1,000,000 soccer fields all put together! It's filled with tall, pointy mountains, some so high they have snow on top even in summer. There are also sparkly blue and green lakes that look like jewels, and thick forests where bears and deer love to play hide-and-seek.

A Home for Wild Friends!

This park is a super safe home for lots of cool animals. You might see a big, fuzzy grizzly bear lumbering around, or a speedy elk with giant antlers. Bighorn sheep with curly horns love to climb the rocky cliffs, and you might even spot a moose munching on plants near a lake. It's like a real-life animal kingdom where everyone lives together peacefully.

Ice Giants and Ancient Rocks!

Did you know Banff has giant ice rivers called glaciers? They are like slow-moving rivers made of ice that have been around for a super long time. These ice giants helped carve out the amazing shapes of the mountains we see today. The rocks here are also super old, like they've been around since the dinosaurs were stomping around, telling stories of millions of years past!

Adventures for Everyone!

People have loved visiting Banff for over 100 years! They come to hike on trails that wind through the forests, paddle on the clear lakes, and just breathe in the fresh mountain air. It's a place for amazing adventures, like exploring hidden valleys or looking up at the stars in the super dark night sky. It's a special place that Canada is very proud of!
