The Battle of Fromelles: A Tough Day

The Battle of Fromelles happened a long, long time ago, during World War I. It took place in a place called Fromelles, which is in France. Think of it like a big playground, but instead of swings and slides, there were muddy trenches and lots of danger. The land was low and a bit swampy, making it tricky for soldiers to move around. It was near a bigger city called Lille, which is also in France.
