Lille

Imagine a city tucked away in the very north of France, like a secret hiding spot! Lille is right next to the country of Belgium, so close you could almost wave hello. It sits by a little river called the Deûle.

This city is the boss of a big area called Hauts-de-France, and it's also the main city for a super big group of towns called the European Metropolis of Lille. It's a busy place with lots of people living there!
