These cartoons can be funny, exciting, or even teach you new things. Think of your favorite cartoon characters – they all started as drawings that someone made move!

Long, long ago, before TV and computers, people loved watching moving pictures. Early cartoon makers experimented with simple toys that made drawings appear to move. Then, they started drawing lots of pictures on film.

One of the very first famous cartoons was made over 100 years ago! Over time, with new inventions like computers, cartoons got even more amazing and colorful, bringing us the shows we love today.
