Andrzej Duda

Imagine a country like Poland having a special leader, kind of like a captain of a big ship! That leader is Andrzej Duda. He was born a long, long time ago, in 1972, in a city called Kraków. He's a lawyer, which means he knows a lot about rules and fairness. He became the President of Poland, which is a very important job!

Becoming president isn't like winning a game of tag. It takes lots of votes! In 2015, people voted for him. First, lots of people voted, but not enough to win right away. Then, there was another vote, and he got more than half the votes! It was like winning a race by a tiny bit. He won again in 2020, showing many people trust him.

Sometimes, countries need help from their friends. When a country called Ukraine had trouble in 2022, President Duda was a big helper. He worked with other countries to make sure Ukraine got the support it needed. It’s like when your friend is sad, and you help them feel better. He's a leader who cares about helping others.

Before being president, Andrzej Duda was like a super-smart student in school, but for grown-ups! He worked in a big meeting place called the Sejm and even in a place called the European Parliament. These jobs helped him learn how to be a great leader for all of Poland. He's a busy person who loves his country!
