Alberto Granado

Alberto Granado was a super smart scientist who loved to explore. He was born a long, long time ago, in 1922. He was like a real-life explorer from a storybook! He wasn't just a scientist; he was also a doctor and wrote cool books about his adventures. He even helped start a whole school for doctors!

When Alberto was a young man, he and his friend Che Guevara decided to go on an epic trip. They hopped on a motorcycle and traveled all over South America. They saw mountains taller than skyscrapers and jungles bigger than any park you've ever seen. This amazing trip changed their lives and helped them understand the world better.

Alberto wrote a book all about his motorcycle adventure with Che. It was called 'Traveling with Che Guevara: The Making of a Revolutionary.' Guess what? This book was so exciting that it was made into a movie called 'The Motorcycle Diaries'! You can even see a very old Alberto Granado at the end of the movie!
