Al-Andalus

Al-Andalus was a super cool part of Europe, mostly in what is now Spain and Portugal, that was ruled by Muslims for a very long time, from the year 711 until 1492. It wasn't just one country, but a whole region where people from different backgrounds lived together. Think of it like a giant playground where kids from all over the world came to play and share their toys and games.

This made Al-Andalus a very special and exciting place!

Lots of different people lived in Al-Andalus! There were Muslims, Christians, and Jewish people. They were all really smart and creative.
