AIDAnova

AIDAnova is a humongous cruise ship, like a floating city on the water! It's so big, it's like having a giant hotel with swimming pools, restaurants, and places to play, all on a boat. It was built in a special shipyard in Germany, which is a country in Europe. Think of it as a super-duper vacation home that travels to exciting places around the world!

This amazing ship wasn't always floating! It was carefully built piece by piece in a place called Papenburg, Germany. Imagine building with giant LEGO bricks, but much, much bigger! It took a lot of smart engineers and builders to put AIDAnova together. It was launched, which means it was put into the water for the first time, in August 2018. Then, it was ready to start its adventures!

AIDAnova is special because it's one of the first of its kind to be super eco-friendly. It uses a special kind of fuel called Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). This is like using a cleaner way to power your toys so they don't make as much yucky smoke. This helps keep our oceans and air cleaner for everyone, including all the amazing sea creatures!

When AIDAnova sets sail, it takes lots of people on exciting holidays! People get to see new countries, swim in different oceans, and enjoy all the fun things on the ship. It's like going on a big, long adventure where your hotel moves with you! It has a sister ship, called AIDAcosma, which is just as big and exciting!
