2025 US Open – Mixed doubles

Imagine playing your favorite game with a friend, but on a giant tennis court! That's what mixed doubles is all about. Two girls and two boys, or a girl and a boy, team up to play against another team.

They have to work together, cheer each other on, and hit the ball back and forth over a super high net. The 2025 US Open had a special mixed doubles tournament where the best teams battled it out to be champions!

The US Open is like the Super Bowl of tennis! It's a huge tennis party held in New York City. This year, the mixed doubles players showed off their amazing skills on courts that are as hard as a sidewalk but specially made for tennis.

The tournament happened on August 19th and 20th. It was the 137th time this special mixed doubles event has been part of the US Open, which is a really, really long time!

The super-duper winners of the 2025 US Open mixed doubles were Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori! They were like tennis superheroes who had won before and came back to win again. They played against another awesome team, Iga Świątek and Casper Ruud, in a super exciting final match. Sara and Andrea won the big trophy after a thrilling game!
