The Great Pinoy Vote!

Think of the Senate like a super-important club for grown-ups who help make the rules for the Philippines. In 2025, people got to vote for new members of this club! It's like picking your favorite players for a big team. The senators elected will help decide things for the country until the year 2031. That's a long time, almost as long as you'll be in elementary school!

When people vote, they think about what's important. For this election, many people were worried about jobs for everyone and making sure there's enough food to eat. They also wanted better schools, hospitals, and clean water.

Some people were very upset about grown-ups not being honest, so they wanted leaders who would be fair and not take extra money. It was a big discussion about how to make the Philippines an even better place!

Just like in games, sometimes people team up. The president's team, called Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas, worked together. Another group, DuterTen, also had their own team. And there were other groups like KiBam and Oposisyon ng Bayan, each with their own ideas. It was like different groups of friends trying to win a big competition to help lead the country.

After everyone voted, some people were chosen to be senators! The Alyansa team won the most seats, getting six! DuterTen got three, and the KiBam team had both their candidates win. It's like a scoreboard showing who got picked. Even though the voting is over, the new senators are ready to start their important work for the Philippines.
