Israel and Syria: What's Happening Now?

Imagine a country called Syria. In December 2024, something big happened there: the leader, Bashar al-Assad, was no longer in charge. This created a kind of empty space, and Israel decided to move into a part of southern Syria. They said it was to make sure they were safe from any new problems that might pop up in Syria. It was like a new chapter starting, but with some big questions!

After the leader changed, Israel moved into an area of Syria that's close to where Israel already is. They also sent planes to bomb some of Syria's military places. This was to make sure Syria's army couldn't cause trouble in that southern part.
