Zapopan: A City of Wonders!

Imagine a big, busy city in Mexico called Zapopan! It's part of an even bigger area called the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area. Zapopan is like the most popular kid in its state, Jalisco, because it has the most people living there. It's a place full of life and excitement, where lots of families call home. The name Zapopan sounds cool, right? It actually means 'among the sapote trees' in an old language called Nahuatl. Sapote trees are a type of fruit tree. So, Zapopan used to be a place with lots of these trees! It was also once called 'former Corn Village' because it grew so much corn. It's like the city has a secret nickname that tells us about its past!
