Yoshihide Suga

Imagine being the captain of a big ship, steering it through calm seas and stormy weather. That's a bit like what Yoshihide Suga did! He was the Prime Minister of Japan, which is like the most important leader in the whole country.

He was born a long time ago, on December 6, 1948. He worked hard to help his country, especially when everyone needed to stay safe during a time called the COVID-19 pandemic. He also helped make sure the big Olympic Games in Tokyo could happen!

Yoshihide Suga didn't always live in a fancy house. He grew up on a farm where his family grew yummy strawberries! When he finished school, he moved to a big city called Tokyo.

He studied hard and then started working for someone who was already in politics. Later, he decided to become a politician himself! He was elected to help make decisions for a city called Yokohama.
