Wydad AC

Wydad AC is a super popular sports club from a big city in Morocco called Casablanca. Think of them like a famous team you might see on TV, but they play in Morocco! Their most famous team is their football (soccer) team, and they wear a bright red uniform that looks really cool.

They are so good that they've never been kicked out of the top league, which is like never getting a bad grade in school!

Wydad AC started a long, long time ago, in 1937. Seven friends wanted to make sure that people from Morocco could play sports, especially in swimming pools. First, they focused on water polo, which is like water basketball! Then, in 1939, a smart person named Père Jégo started the football team. He was the very first coach! They’ve always loved wearing red, just like a superhero's cape.

Wydad AC is a champion because they win A LOT! They have won the Moroccan league more times than any other team, which is like winning first place in a race over and over. They've also won big games in Africa, like the CAF Champions League, which is a super important trophy. They are one of the most winning teams in all of Morocco, making their fans super proud!

Even though their football team is super famous, Wydad AC is like a giant sports playground! They also have teams for basketball, handball, volleyball, and even water polo, where they started! They also have a girls' and women's football team. It’s like a whole community of athletes all wearing the cool red colors and playing together.
