Will Venable

Will Venable is a super cool guy who loves sports! He was born on October 29, 1982. Imagine a super-fast baseball player who could also jump high for basketball!

Will played both sports when he was in college. He's also the manager for a big baseball team called the Chicago White Sox. That means he helps decide how the team plays and wins games.

He used to play for other teams like the San Diego Padres and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Will Venable comes from a family that loves sports, just like him! His dad, Max Venable, was also a baseball player in the big leagues. And his brother, Winston Venable, played football in the NFL! It's like they have a whole sports team in their family. Will learned a lot from his dad and grew up around sports, which helped him become a great player and now a great manager.

When Will Venable played baseball, he was super speedy! He was really good at hitting the ball far and running fast to bases. He even finished in the top 10 for hitting three bases at once (called triples) many times!

He also stole bases a lot, which means he ran to the next base before the other team could stop him. He hit more home runs and got more hits than anyone else who went to his college, Princeton!

After being a fantastic player, Will Venable became a coach and now a manager. Being a manager is like being the captain of the whole team, but off the field. He helps the players get better and makes important decisions during games.

He used to be a coach for the Chicago Cubs, which is another big baseball team. Now, he leads the Chicago White Sox, helping them play their best and hopefully win lots of games!
