Wengen

Wengen is a special village tucked away in the Swiss Alps. It's so high up, it's like being on top of a giant playground slide! Guess what? Wengen is a car-free village! This means no noisy cars zooming around. People get around by walking, or by taking a cute little train. This makes it a very quiet and peaceful place. It's like living in a giant, beautiful park where everyone walks or rides bikes!

Even though Wengen is small, lots of people visit! In the summer, it gets busier with about 5,000 people enjoying the hiking and fresh air. In the winter, it becomes even more popular, with up to 10,000 people coming to ski and play in the snow. It's a favorite spot for winter sports!

Wengen is famous for its amazing ski races called the Lauberhorn races. These are super exciting! It's a place where people love to ski down steep, snowy slopes. Even if you don't ski, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and the cozy feeling of being in a mountain village.
