Imagine a super-smart person who loves to figure out how to make money grow, like planting a tiny seed and watching it become a giant tree! That's Warren Buffett. He was born a long time ago in a city called Omaha, in the United States.

Even when he was a kid, he was curious about how businesses worked and how to invest, which means putting money into something hoping it will make more money later. He's become so good at it that people call him the 'Oracle of Omaha'!

Warren Buffett didn't just wake up rich. When he was a boy, he bought his first little piece of a company. He went to college and learned all about how to pick good businesses to invest in.

Then, he started his own company, and it grew and grew! He bought a company called Berkshire Hathaway, and now it's a giant business that owns lots of different companies. He's been in charge for a super long time, since 1970, which is longer than you've been alive!

Warren Buffett is famous because he's incredibly good at picking companies that do well. He's made a LOT of money, so much that he's one of the richest people in the whole world! But here's a super cool thing: he doesn't keep it all.

He plans to give almost all of his money away to help people and make the world a better place. He even started a special club for other rich people to promise to give away most of their money too!

Warren Buffett is known for being very careful with his money, even though he has tons of it. He likes to buy things that are a good deal, like finding a special toy on sale. He also believes in helping others.

He's promised to give away 99% of his fortune to charity. That's like having 100 cookies and giving away 99 of them to share! He's also getting ready to let someone else lead his big company, Berkshire Hathaway, so it can keep going strong.
