Von Miller: Football Superstar!

Imagine a superhero on a football field! That’s kind of like Von Miller. He’s a super-fast player who plays a special position called a linebacker. His job is to stop the other team from scoring by tackling their players. He’s so good at this that he’s become one of the best players in the whole NFL! He wears a cool helmet and uniform and plays with incredible energy.

Von Miller is famous for his 'sacks.' A sack is when he tackles the player with the ball behind the line where they started. He’s so good at getting sacks that he has more than almost any other player still playing! He’s like a speedy cheetah chasing down its prey. He’s made over 110 sacks in his career, which is a LOT of tackles!

Von Miller has won the Super Bowl, the biggest game in American football, not once, but TWICE! The first time, he was even named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the game. That means he was the best player on the field that day! Winning the Super Bowl is like winning the championship in any sport, and he’s done it with two different teams.

Before becoming a famous NFL player, Von Miller played football at a big college called Texas A&M. He was so good there that he won a special award called the Butkus Award, given to the best linebacker in college football. Then, he was picked to play in the NFL by the Denver Broncos, one of the most exciting teams!
