Imagine being so good at making people laugh that you become a TV star! That's what Volodymyr Zelenskyy did. He was an actor and comedian who even played the president on a TV show.

Then, in a surprising twist, he actually became the president of Ukraine in real life! He was born a long time ago, in 1978, and grew up speaking Russian. He studied law but decided acting was more fun than being a lawyer.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy didn't just wake up and become president. He worked with friends to create funny TV shows and movies. One of his most famous shows was called 'Servant of the People,' where he played a teacher who accidentally becomes president.

People loved it so much that he started a political party with the same name! He decided to run for president and won by a HUGE amount, like winning a race by a mile!

Being president isn't always easy, and for Volodymyr Zelenskyy, it became very challenging. A big country called Russia started a war with Ukraine. Even though it was scary, President Zelenskyy decided to stay in his country's capital city, Kyiv, to be with his people. He didn't run away!
