Uncontacted Peoples

Some groups of people choose to live without talking to others outside their community. They are called uncontacted peoples. Think of them like secret explorers who prefer their own special way of life.

They live in places far away from big cities and busy roads, often in deep forests or on islands. It's like they have their own hidden kingdoms where they make their own rules and live by their own traditions.

Most of these hidden communities live in South America, especially in Brazil. Imagine a place so big and so full of trees that many groups can still live there without anyone knowing! Since they don't talk to us, how do we know they are there? Sometimes, people who live nearby see them or find signs they've been there. Other times, brave explorers fly high up in airplanes and look down. From way up high, they can see villages or paths that show people are living there. It's super important to let these groups live the way they want. They have their own special knowledge about the world, like how to use plants for medicine or how to live with nature.
