Tupelo, Mississippi

Imagine a place in the southern part of the United States, in a state called Mississippi. That's where Tupelo is! It's like a busy town in northern Mississippi, where lots of people live and work. Tupelo has a super cool nickname: 'The First TVA City'! Back in 1934, it was the very first city in the whole country to get electricity from something called the Tennessee Valley Authority. Guess what? Tupelo is famous because a legendary singer, Elvis Presley, was born there! You can even visit his birthplace. But Tupelo also faced a big challenge.
