Tawhid Hridoy

Imagine a super-fast runner on a playground, but instead of running, Tawhid Hridoy hits a cricket ball with all his might! He's a super-talented young cricketer from Bangladesh. He was born on December 4, 2000, which means he's still pretty young, just like some of your older siblings or cousins.

He plays a sport called cricket, which is super popular in many countries around the world. He's known for his amazing batting skills and has already played in big cricket matches!

Tawhid's cricket journey started when he was just a teenager. In 2017, when he was only 17, he played his very first big cricket game called 'first-class debut' for a team called Rajshahi Division. It’s like when you first get to play on the big kids’ soccer team!

Soon after, he was chosen to play for Bangladesh in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup. This is a huge tournament for young players, like a mini-Olympics for cricket!

Tawhid is famous for scoring lots and lots of runs in cricket. In one special game in 2021, he scored an amazing 217 runs! That's more runs than most players score in their whole careers.

And guess what? In 2023, he made a new record for Bangladesh by scoring 92 runs in his very first One Day International (ODI) match. That's like being the star player on your first day of a new sport and scoring the most points!

Tawhid Hridoy is already a big name in cricket, and he's still growing and getting better. He's been chosen to play for different teams and even been a vice-captain, which means he helps lead his team. People are really excited to see what else he will do in his cricket career.
